Super Geo.I silver ale/beer/wine jug; of plain slightly tapered cylindrical form of the period with an urn-shaped final to the hinged lid. The handle is of capped scroll design, opposite the plain spout. Unusually (and desirably) the lid has the London mark as well as the lion rampant; nice clear full set of marks to the body. Very elegant piece of early silver.
