Continental silver mounted nut bowl on silverplated stand; this interesting piece has a decorative silver mount to the nut which forms a lovely bowl for flowers or as a desk ornament. The stand is silverplated, as solid silver would not be sufficiently springy to contain the nut, which is removeable. Facinating piece.
