Description
Exquisite Geo.III. silver gilt snuff/spice box: of rectangular form with cut corners, and a hinged lid. The lid bears a crest, both the base (inside) and the lid have good clear hallmarks and there is even a lion passant mark to the exterior. The hinge to the lid displays fine workmanship, as would be expected from this maker, and the gilding is in perfect condition. Altogether a nice crisp, charming piece.London. 1791. Thomas Harper I.
